First Boundless Teaser

I made it to Friday Teaser time! Since A Reliant Love is still with Danielle, my editor, I'm dropping another hint to my new series. Monday I gave you Wingless, so today you get Boundless, the second novel. This series is only two books and they're sort of a prequel to another series I'm coming up with.

It's really, really, really cool. I'm so obsessed with these books already. Wingless is done and I'm JUST starting to go through and edit it. So keep checking for those teasers. Hopefully next week I'll have a A Reliant Love teaser to give you all. Here we go!

First Wingless Teaser!

Hey Guys! I'm so, so, sorry that I missed Friday Teaser. I had a doctor and Chris has physical therapy..it was busy at work...I'm stretched too thin. The excuses could go on and on. BUT to make it up to you guys, I'm dropping the first little teaser to my next series, Wingless and Boundless.

I'm SOOOOO excited to hear what you guys have to say about it. It will be coming out after A Reliant Love, hopefully early this summer. My editor, +Danielle Rose is going to be doing my covers for the books, along with editing it, and she made this little promo for us. So thank her!

Without making you wait longer, a little, teeny tease for my next series....

What do you think the book is going to be about? I want to hear your predictions!!

The Curse of Betrayal Review by Fran Lewis

Hey everybody! It's Tuesday and I normally don't talk to you all today but I just had to post this remarkable review that Fran Lewis wrote about The Curse of Betrayal. She also wrote one for The THousand Year Curse that was featured. She does AWESOME reviews and she's the nicest woman.

Here's a few parts and if you want to see the full thing, go to her website! Here's the link.

Enjoy a little bit of the review...

Author Taylor Lavati takes readers inside the mind of a young girl whose insecurities get the best of her. Whose loyalties to her friends are undeniable and whose fear that a thousand year curse might cause more people to be injured or die. Why did Hades choose her? Why was she the recipient of this curse? What does it mean to be Eurydice and how will being her affect the lives of others? But, this story is far from over as Ryder finds herself in a dream along with her dream self and her mother. Finding out what she thinks is the truth about why her mother is missing, who she thinks is the reason creates more than just a mental breakdown for Ryder. A retreat that would cost someone their life as the demons come back and try to finish what the know Hermes and Hades started. Just what does Ryder think is the reason she is being sought after by the underworld. When you are curses you need to find out the reason why and then find out what the end result is supposed to be and you must end it! But, when the truth comes out and the final body count is tallied just who stands in her way and who needs to get out of her line of fire? Throughout the novel the author allows readers to understand the tense relationship between Ryder and her father. When he reveals his knowledge and the untold truths are finally out in the open will she be able to bond with the only person she might be able to trust?
A school that has become too dangerous and had to be closed and an ending that you just won’t expect. The clever twist at the end will alert readers that you just might not know who or what really betrayed Ryder. Listen to the voice of someone who claims to care for her and you decide whether it’s a lie. Violence, deaths, pranks, games and only one person who hopes to gain from it all. Will Ryder be able to break the curse? Who is behind this and Why? Listen to the startling message she receives and learn that the story is far from over and we need to wait I might add impatiently until our creative and talented author pens the final chapter in this trilogy. What will the fate of Ari, Ollie and Ryder be? Who is her true soul mate? Who can she trust? Explosive, riveting, fast paced and frightening: The Curse of Betrayal: A great story of friendship, deceit, lies, betrayals, trust, insecurities and hope. Ryder: A teen whose emotions are so bottled up that when she explodes more than just her emotions are involved. A character that is quite realistic as the author allows her to react in a way that most teens would not always as a grown-up, temper tantrums and often not thinking about the outcome. This is one book for all YA’s to read to learn the true meaning of what it is to be a friend and what is the definition of trust.

The more blood of a god you have in your body or system, the more effective the curse will be. Think about that. Hades did the curse for a reason. What will Ryder have to do to stop the curse and get her life and mother back? Lisa, Megan, Mikey, Kara, Junior, Ollie, Ari and Cristos: Who will be left to cast the next spell and break the curse? Who pays for what someone else wants do dearly? . Find out in Volume three the reason why and the outcome that Hades wants to happen that he has written down when the author pens the next chapter in the life of Ryder and the rest of the Demi Gods.

A Reliant Love | Teaser Six

Happy weekend everybody! I'm still stuck at work but I can't wait for this long awaited break. For some reason this week felt extremely long. I've been making a TON of progress on all of my future novels. I also dropped a little teaser on my website about my new two book series that's coming out this summer.

Their names are Wingless (book one) and Boundless (book two). I've already finished Wingless and I'm working on the next one now. They follow two angels Annie and Micha on their journeys. These books are Young Adult and very clean, for all ages. More on those to come soon...

Onto the teaser! This one is Sammy again. I just can't get enough of him. I mean, look at him, could you? Here's his little inner monologue teaser...

I wish that I was as naive as they are. I’m way too versed in fucking up and not getting a second chance. Unfortunately I had to learn the hard way—like most people do. Only I had to hurt someone and ruin their life before I saw the light. Most days I wish it was me that I hurt, then I could just take the blame and move on with my shitty life. Hurting someone else only brings on grief and hatred and self-loathing. All of which I feel on a daily basis.

A Reliant Love | Teaser Five

I actually made it to a Teaser Friday! How awesome is this? So I got my first round of edits back from my editor so I'm very excited, yet busy, as I start to go through and make the book better. It's really shaping up well and I'm eagerly waiting getting it out there.

I'll get right to the point. This teaser is Nathalie's POV and it's when she meets Cindy, a new friend.

"We should hang out after class sometime,” she says while reaching into her bag, distracted by something in there. She pulls out a notebook and scribbles something down fast. Then she hands me a torn out piece of paper.
“Definitely. I don’t really know anyone, yet,” I admit, taking the note in my hand. I open it and see her number scratched on it in curly letters.
“Me either. Well other than my whore-ish roommate and her habitual man cakes slutting around the room.” She laughs, rolling her eyes.
“Man cakes? Sounds…disgusting.” I cringe.
“Totally is. I’ve never seen so many caveman asses in my life. Who knew guy's asses could be so hairy.”
“Ugh. That’s nasty.” I scrunch my nose up in disgust. “Well, you can definitely come over any time if the sex den gets to crowed,” I tell her. I get a good vibe from her and since we have the same major I’m sure I’ll see a lot of her. I need some friends other than Pete.
“Definitely going to take you up on that,” she says just as the teacher walks in. As he starts up class, I un-wrinkle the piece of paper and program her number into my phone.

Missing Teaser From Yesterday

Hey guys! I'm sorry that I missed giving you a teaser yesterday. I was stuck in a waiting room while my fiancĂ© had knee surgery. Luckily, everything went smoothly and he's now recovering at home, safe and sound. But I've been quite busy to say the least.

Here he is getting ready to go under and in the prep room. I've never really had surgery and neither has he, so it was quite nerve-wracking. I have to say, sitting in the waiting room while he was in surgery was scary! I kept waiting for my name to be called to check on him. It was a long day and tough--both mentally and physically.

And then this morning was busy for me. I brought my cousin, Grace who is going to be my flower girl to try on dresses. She had a blast at David's Bridal. Here we are getting measured and prepped.

BUT... I didn't forget you all, I promise. I have a quick, short and sweet teaser from A Reliant Love for you all to enjoy. I didn't really have much time to put it together so it's not much. But it's a teaser none the less. So, here it is!

It's from Sam's point of view. This is one of his and Nathalie's first meetings. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE them??

“Catch you later, Nat.” I pull out a cigarette from my pack in my pocket. She smiles and then turns away from me to walk towards her class. But seeing her walk away kills me. “Hey!” I call back to her, hoping to stop her from leaving me. I already feel myself dull, her light leaving me. “I’m having a party tomorrow. Do you want to come?” I ask her. This is such a shitty idea, but I can’t help myself.
“Sure.” She smiles, but I can tell she’s trying to contain it. Her dimples appear and I want to dip my tongue in them and see how sweet she really is.
