Laura Gordon did the cover for me. It took us a couple tries to get this one but she was amazing! I loved working with her so if you're in need of a cover designer check her out. This is her site, http://thebookcoverdesigner.com/designers/dormantwing/
AND... here is the back cover blurb for you all.
Ryder has finally decided to take her life into her own hands, but things don’t always turn out as they seem. Ollie and Ari have made a pact that leaves Ryder alone until she ends the curse and chooses her soul mate.
With her knights absent, Ryder becomes independent, seeing things in her visions that force her to question the curse—and herself.
As strange things happen at Demi God Academy, Ryder realizes everything comes back to her. She must use the power growing within her to protect her new friends in ways she never imagined possible. But as new threats surface, she may not be strong enough to protect them all.
In book two of A Curse Books, Ryder discovers what it really means to be Eurydice.
So my book is with Danielle my editor. Once I start getting it back I can start with the teasers again!! I'm so excited to get this book to you guys. Comments are most definitely appreciated!

ReplyDeleteThanks! Laura did an awesome job :)
DeleteMy favorite book hero...I dunno, I like so many!
ReplyDeleteI know! It's so hard to choose!!
DeleteLove the background design, but the way your name and the title are overlayed don't mesh very well. An idea might be to draw the text as white (or a light spectrum colour) and make the mid-lay bar black -since the whole image is dark, that might be a good way to mesh them. Along the same vein, having your name under the title (both on the bottom) might also allow the spectacular image to naturally showcase itself. Regardless, however, very solid design. Do like!
ReplyDeleteOh! I almost forgot; the font on everything is too difficult to read, particularly in a thumbnail. Something with less serif would probably be better, since most idiots on Amazon judge things not only by the cover, but by the cover THUMBNAIL.
